This is the story of Ms. Bijimol K B, a 27-year-old B.Sc. Nursing graduate from Erumeli, Kottayam. She had a simple dream — to care for patients, work abroad as a nurse, and lift her struggling family out of poverty. She had completed all the formalities and was counting the days to begin her new life.
But life had other plans. Just when hope was blooming, Bijimol was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, an aggressive blood cancer.
She fought bravely through six cycles of painful chemotherapy. Every session took her closer to survival but drained her family of everything they had.
