Manthrakshatha D, an exceptionally talented UKG student at New Baldwin International School in Anekal, faces significant challenges at a young age. Both of her parents are blind — her father is a Braille book writer, and her mother supports the family as best as she can.
Recently, Manthrakshatha’s father experienced a health crisis, fainting at work due to high blood pressure and diabetes, adding to the family’s difficulties. With their limited resources, the ₹10,000 school fees for Manthrakshatha’s UKG year became a heavy burden.
Understanding their plight, SmartSoC Hope Foundation’s Project Vidya stepped in to provide essential support. By covering her school fees, the foundation alleviated some of the financial strain on the family.
